The aims of this study are:
- Analyse the situation and developments in the market of the main occupations associated with qualifications in fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, taking into account different variables and indicators relating to employment, the factors of change, the productive system, new technologies, etc.
- Information about employment; skills that will create jobs; job profiling of job-seekers and persons engaged in various occupations; the skills required by businesses and training needs.
- Identify the employability of these occupations and the factors affecting it, careers and economic activities where they are most demand their services.
- The educational opportunities related to these occupations and the volume of trainees and graduates as a starting point for other studies that analyse the shortage or excess of professionals and misalignment between supply and demand in the labour market.
