The forum of brokering and use of Santiago de Compostela 2015
The fourth edition of the forum of brokering and use of Santiago de Compostela (A Coruña) was held on 29 and 30 april 2015 at the palais des congrès and exhibits Galicia .
The Forum is an initiative of the Local Agency of placing the city of Santiago de Compostela which has as its objectives to serve as a central meeting point between companies and job seekers, contribute to the revitalization of the labour market, promote the improvement of skills and qualifications of persons seeking their first job or returning to the job market and to report on resources and tools for finding employment.
The event was attended by key personalities connected with work in the region: Mrs Beatriz Mato Otero, counsellor of Labour and welfare of the Xunta de Galicia , Mrs Ana María Díaz López, director-General of Employment and training of the Xunta, D. Agustín Hernández Fernández de Rojas, Mayor of Santiago de Compostela and D. Miguel Flat Rock, The Provincial Director of Public employment Service State (SEPE) in A coruña.
This edition was attended by more than 3 . 000 participants who visited the 62 stands of companies, business associations and trade unions, chambers of commerce, universities and government agencies. During these two days were managed 141 vacancies and collected 1 . 685 curricula vitae.
In parallel, more than 1 . 600 persons participated in training courses and 1 . 414 in meetings with companies. It was also held various conferences that have been broadcast through the website of the agency for the individuals who are unable to go to the congress palace.
The public employment service State participated in the forum with a stand of 25 m 2 permanently, cared for by the staff of the Provincial Directorate of the SEPE in A coruña, in which the meeting was briefed on the registration on the record of the National System of Youth Guarantee, the observatory of occupations, the contract for the training and learning, the contract in practices and certificates of professionalism.
The booth with a booth in the public were met, two round with laptop computers in the targeting of individual participants concerned, a round-table meetings and display of information leaflets.
