Guides Iuris 2016 - Job fair legal Galicia and the north of Portugal

The Faculty of law (Campus of Ourense), university of Vigo and the city of Ourense hosted the first editionFair legal Employment Galicia and the north of Portugal, in which an information stand thePublic employment service Estatal (SEPE).

On 25 november 2016 with the main objective of promoting the employability of pupils and the realization of pre-profesionales practices, the fair was conceived as a meeting point where students, graduates and professionals in the world of the right could share their experiences, interlinked and improve the accessibility to the labour market.

The fair was guided both students and graduates of qualifications of law, as well as law firms, companies and institutions of the legal sphere, ngos and agencies.

Through different activities and expositivas participatory, the forum enabled students design strategies for the active pursuit of employment, determine the most suitable professional profile to real demands of the labour market, experiences of professionals and catch up on the topics in the Legal field.

In the area of exhibitors, collaborating institutions presented their training and career, began their recruitment processes and developed networking sessions. For its part, students and graduates of law were unable to submit their resumes and maintain job interviews.

In this area was informative stand of the SEPE, cared for permanently by Provincial Directorate of the agency in Ourense under the supervision of its Provincial Director, José Pérez Churches. It reported to the visitors on the agency, the observatory of occupations, the modalities of contracts, employment and entrepreneurship andThe sole Portal “ Empléate Employment ”.

In parallel, throughout the whole held conferences, debates, round tables, microcharlas and workshops in which various professionals involved with the legal field spoke on employability and present of the sector. The day ended with a professional development workshop for the employability of graduates of law, in which participants received a set of guidelines on how to prepare and maintain a successful job interview.
