With professional level General Office and direct dependence of General manager of the public employment service state, correspond to this unit follows

Functions:

a) Establish together with the Autonomous Communities information content, results of the management of active employment policies, labour intermediation and unemployment benefits, which must be shared and integrated into a common database to public employment services, as well as to define the rules of creation, operation, or modify its content, within the system of information of the Public employment services.

b) Develop and disseminate statistics and standardized reports in the labour market and employment policies for the realization of monitoring and evaluations of the execution plans of the European employment strategy and annual work programme of the national employment system, as well as addressing information requirements demanded by public administrations and international agencies in relation to the national system of employment.

c) To Maintain and update the Occupational Observatory of public employment service state, preparing studies and reports on employment, training and protection for unemployment; monitor and analyse their quality, as the basis for defining strategies, plans and programmes that will make meaningful employment policies, in cooperation with the Autonomous Communities and coordination with the network of observatories of public employment services.

d) Analyse the national employment situation that allows the management of migration flows.

e) To Develop the proposal, coordination and monitoring of the curriculum of public service State employment within the ministry of Employment and Social security.

f) manage funds documentaries the public employment service State.
